On 1st July 2000 I became the proud owner of a Bally 1993 Twilight Zone Pinball

The Game
Obviously the game is a tie in to The Twilight Zone TV program, but I didn't remember ever seeing any of the shows! (I've seen a few now though!) Most of the features (except the Gumball Machine) are direct references to shows.

TZ is a wide body table seen here in its full glory.
The playfield of TZ is rich and varied, some of the highlights are:
The clock
is not only an in-game timer for the various modes, in attract mode it even tells the time!
The Gumball Machine is an ingenious lock where balls are held until the multi-ball.
The Powerzone is a raised 2nd playing area to the upper left of the table which contains two magnetic flippers. These are very different and totally frustrating but unique to this table.
The most remembered feature of TZ has got to be the powerball. This is a pale coloured, incredibly fast ball which is impervious to magnetic detection or influence. I used to think it was made of rubber but now know they are ceramic. A replacement powerball please, yours for £75 sir.
This (large) promotional flyer shows the whole playing field in its glory.
Here is a (large) "ball's eye view" of the table

Want to play?
Email me if you'd like to visit but please first check the TZ status page and maybe save us both some disappointment.
(The two blonde twin sisters are welcome to come round and play again even if the tables are not working)

Other TZ Links
I'm (not yet) quite as fanatical about pinball as some people. So here are some links to pages that contain far more information about TZ than you will ever want to know!

Rule sheets by Sigma and Bowen Kerins.
There is lots of speech in TZ which are quoted here.
The superb music in TZ was created by Chris Granner who wrote music for lots of pinball machines archived here.
Want to repair a 1990-2000 Williams pinball? This is the information you need to know.
Want to modify your TZ? I don't!
I bought my TZ from Adrian & Sarah. This is their site.
